Taking the God daughter and her chap for a meal in Hebden next week.

Olive Branch still nice?
Old Gate still the best pub food?
That Thai place still decent?

Aux Delices in Mytholmroyd was good last time we went, but not for been for a while and it was a bit pricey......

Thanks in advance.

Nelsons Wine bar, Crown street. Veggie, mind - oh and it's not really "dining".
Hanuman Thai in Tod is better and cheaper than the hebden one if that's any guide.
Oldgate is probably the best pub food if you can put up with the noise and the beer prices - Stubbing Wharf is up and running again, haven't tried the food yet, but heard it was OK.
As above, Olive Branch is fine, as is Il Mulino (dont go if it's your birthday - you'll get the balloon hat and a mad song if they find out!).

🙂
I wish.

She's from the s'fizztikated side of the family Tony.
She'll be expecting cutlery and chairs at the least, so Burnley's out....

I've heard that The Hinchcliffe (just off the Cragg Vale road) is supposed to be very good.
