I've tried WhatTheFont but no success. Has anyone any idea what the font used in this logo is! (the Hodkinson's bit)

The Ss and Os don't look the same as one another, so it could be hand drawn type.

Hand drawn, the O's are different, as jackthedog says. I think you'll have to do what I used to spend many hours doing, and that's re-draw it in a vector drawing programme, like Illustrator or Corel, or similar.
RESTAURANT is a proper font, but I'm struggling to remember it's name, I don't have any reference books, like the Letraset catalogue any more, and I'm sadly out of practice.
I keep wanting to say Garamond...
