Evening all.
I have just been reading the Wifi Extenders thread, and it had almost convinced me to hit buy on a powerlines kit. But one (probably stupid) thing was bugging me.
Do the 2 units need to be on the same power circuit in the house?
Forgive my ignorance here, but my belief is that each fuse in the fuse box controls a different electric circuit.
So, if my route is in the kitchen and on the kitchen 13A circuit, will it work if the other end is on the rest of the houses 13A circuit.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but house electrics aren't a strong suit of mine!

Just the one consumer unit? If so, it should work fine.
We actually have 2 consumer units in the house.. But the 2 circuits I would want to use are on the same one..
I am 98.4% sure it will be fine.
For example, Develo state in their FAQ:
Incidentally, their products seem well regarded on Amazon.
Jamie,
That's great thank you, i'll give the Develo units a go and see what happens.
