Got me a worx Pegasus. How do I cut short pieces of wood?
I really need the grips right on the edge .

Is this acceptable working for a circular saw?

I've never really understood how these tables give anything over a workmate!
Is it a circular saw or hand saw you are using?
Hand saw i' just hold it. Circular saw.. stick those ofcuts under it to raise it off the bench and make sure your cut depths isn't enought o hit the table top.
Or... Place the offcut plus a spacer of like 1cm on the other clamp, just enough that it's wider than the piece you want to cut. Then stick a batton across the two clamps so the end of the button is directly inline with the dog on the right. Then tight the right clamp until it is pressing the batton against the piece. And tighten the left clamp to hold it in place.
Ah you have done option 3. Your battons are a bit big.... For a circular saw I,d say use the put some thing under it and cut over the bench.
The clamps are removable so it might be easier to clamp the work down vertically to the edge of the table rather than horizontally, overhanging just enough. Are you cutting to that big line? Using a fence on the saw?
If so, I would imagine the saw will foul on those battens anyway.
Could you temporarily screw the offcut part to a bigger piece to make it easier to clamp?
I’ve had a pair of these Clamps fittedto my Workmate for >20 years - they should fit in the holes on your workbench.
Supporting/clamping both sides with a circular saw is better to keep both hands on the tool
