I’m redecorating my daughters bedroom & we get a small patch of surface mould where 2 external walls meet, what would be best to board with? Foil-backed or moisture-resistant? Also best way to fix to wall? I’m leaning towards foil-backed. I’ll be re-insulating the loft after.

Thanks for any info/guidance/ experience shared.👍🏻

Hello,
Foil backed is best in this situation. Sounds like an insulation/ cavity breach is causing the mould. If you can stuff some insulation in the eves in the loft and possibly the area the two walls meet this will help.
Hope that helps.

What about using 37mm thermal boards ideal for that scenario and will keep room a lot warmer
