Been told I am stiff and should get a foam roller to work out the knots in my legs/back.

Anyone use one, what's your recommendations, knobble or smooth (I expect at least some abuse on this bit, so fire away), instructional videos, where to buy from?

I got a knobble one at the weekend for about £10 in Netto. So far I prefer the smooth one that I used before at Crossfit.

Got a smooth physioworld one off ebay a few months back. Just search physioworld. They do 2 lengths, get the long one as is easier to use for your back, you can always trim it down but the small one I keep at work is ok for occasional use.

Make sure it's a black or blue one- they're stiffer foam than the others. It'll hurt more at the beginning but if you get a white or other colour one, then after a bit you'll find that it isn't really doing anything.
