Seems to be a wasp plague at the moment, however flying around our bin...looked like a slightly bigger black and orange wasp so it got sprayed with Raid.

Upon examination it appeared to be carrying very tiny fleas or similar either on it or within it...or perhaps they were already on the bin bag so got picked up on the kitchen paper when I wiped the surplus Raid off.
