We were watching a plane circling for 30min or more last night seemed a bit unusual so checked on flightradar it was from national police air service out of dsa a v68r it was in the air from 7:15 - 11.00 at least . I can’t find it now history not available anyone able to help with this little bit of info assume a training flight and not COVID watching

It could have been working eg trying to find someone/supporting some police operation.
They have a few used in the same way the helicopters are (cheaper to run though).

you’ve picked up on the wrong identity. Try G-polx and g-polw which are based out of egcn.

There is also now the facility to playback the radar picture from a certain time so you may find it using that.

Woop-woop! It's the sound of da police!

Vulcanair p68a run by the national police air service out of Finningley. I took that photo yesterday, thinking you might ask this question. So yes, it was the COVID police.

A quick google shows it /they have a bit of history for radart all a coincidence apparently after circling for hours I think most people would be tempted into a bit of radart. good work officers 👏👏
Edit
Thanks for photo midlifecrashes amazing coincidence that😉

Come on, you don't search for viruses with an aeroplane.

When I looked it’s flight patterns seemed to be following the motorways/major a roads, wondering if using Bluetooth scanners to track vehicles for any covid rule breakers
