So, I need to reduce my uploaded photos from over 4,000 to less than 1,000 by 6th November. I don't mind deleting whole albums but I'd like to keep those photos that have been most widely linked to in forums etc (like here). Anybody discovered/used some tools or processes to make the whole thing less onerous and time consuming?

TIA

I'm interested too.

Basically the only reason I have the Pro version is because STW only accepts linked pics. In other works I'm subsidising STW to the tune of about £8 per month.

I'd happily pay a higher STW subscription to be able to get rid of Flickr.

Other free image hosting options are available.

Flickr have unfortunately fallen behind in the race to stay relevant - as social media has taken over 🙁

I'm aware of that, and that's where I'll transfer any pics that aren't referenced on here.

Aye, it's just not worth £56 per year to me. Plus there's the inevitable increase next year and the ongoing concern over whether or not it's viable as a business.

I’m still a big fan. Lots of inspirational images in amongst the dross

I looked into this year and ended up moving my photos to Amazon, unlimited photo storage included with Prime.

@geomickb have you found an easy way to share from Amazon photos to forums like this one? I already pay for Prime so I guess I should look into it.

Have had a Pro account for years but really don't use it enough now to justify paying for it so for occasional picture hosting for use on internet use a free Flickr account or some other free photo hosting site ?
