I don't seem to be able to login into my flickr account any longer without signing up to yahoo. I don't think I want another email address as I am constant bombarded by junk mail from goodness knows where but probably a microsoft email I never wanted but needed for a windows account.
Any way around the yahoo issue or should I dump flickr. Certainly not bothered about keeping as only signed up because I thought it was easy to post pictures on here and BB. What would you recommend for posting dull pictures in the future?

Flickr is gradually weaning itself off the Yahoo account but it is still a requirement for the vast majority. OP - you must have originally signed up with a Yahoo account as it wasn't an option not to. There's certainly no need to be using the ymail account for anything else if you don't want to. I haven't looked at mine for years.

FLICKR are reducing their limit to 1000fotos very soon
So you need to delete the ones you dont want NOW or they will delete the oldest ones
From the emails
*Free members with more than 1,000 photos or videos uploaded to Flickr have until Tuesday, January 8, 2019, to upgrade to Flickr Pro or download content over the limit. After January 8, 2019, members over the limit will no longer be able to upload new photos to Flickr. After February 5, 2019, free accounts that contain over 1,000 photos or videos will have content actively deleted—starting from oldest to newest date uploaded—to meet the new limit.
So you have until Feb 5th if you are over or care about the pics.

Looks like they are not removing the need for the Yahoo Login yet.... I just use a password manager so it's recorded, not been to the yahoo account in years

If its only for posting onto forums rather than having an online archive then tinypic is good for that - no login / account required. Upload a pic it gives you a url - cut and paste that into your post
