When I set up a temporary studio in the house for taking project photos, I currently have a paper roll.
However, as it's on a bed and I have cats, etc it always ends up creased and increases time spent in post processing.
I'd like a sheet of plastic that is stiff enough to never get creased, but flexible enough to loosely roll (need to go through loft hatch).
Any ideas?
We used to have back-lit HDPE in college years ago, but I can't find any in white and wont be able to backlight.

Priplak is good. Available in around 0.5 to 1mm thick. Will roll up easily. Nice and tough. It's used in graphic printing. Available in a range of colours (including white). Not sure what size sheets are available. It's a brand name but you can get other equivalents a little cheaper
Thanks nickjb - first supplier link says 1000 x 1400mm which might be just about enough.
I wonder if all polyproylene is the same surface toughness?
You need to cut the body up into six parts and then feed it to pigs.

It's ok, my patio needs redoing.

I have been using old rolls of material left over from dress making, they work well with flash or natural lighting and are easy to store when rolled up.
fasthaggis - I just want to get away from anything that can crease, ripple, etc.
I've found a few sellers of 2mm polypropylene, but not much info on how it rolls.
Rather than a sheet backdrop, would a tent or table be worth looking at?

Find a local sign maker / wide format printer. We have rolls of media suitable for this. Pop in with a few £ and see what they have. They will probably have a thick cardboard core you can have to store it in too. I’m in Bristol if that’s local.
I have a tent, but mostly seems unsatisfactory for lighting from the front two corners and the rear of the frame is always in shot.
A table like the manfrotto one in that link (very similar to what we had in college) would be ideal, but that's mega money, and I'd have to put it on the double-bad as that's the only room in the house!
I guess I'm trying to replicate that table, but in a way I can stick in the loft and put on my bed. I can make the side supports no problem.
edit: unbelievably, Manfrotto want £400 just for the perspex sheet! (1250x2000) pretty crazy when £40 buys you the sheet from a plastics co.
