My aunt needs her flat roofed porch re roofing, it's a sort of heavy bitumen type thing rather than felt. Does anyone know a roofer they could recommend around Stockton/Thornaby? I don't really know the area so going at this a bit blind

We use AAA in Marske. They are usually pretty good. Ongoing complicated job on our house roof / dormer and just done a guy at works flat roof garage and apparently did a good job. I expect their range will go as far East West as Stockton. They are a largish firm so not the cheapest but not too many horror stories locally either.
Edit: sorry Stockton is West. Now off to learn my left from right ...
Our family has used Michael Sweeting, Sweetings Roofing Services for years. They lived two doors down from us growing up in Linthorpe, and his father was a builder too, he knows his stuff. I think he's based Acklam way these days so Thornaby won't be a stretch.
