Yet again i've been told by my mrs that i look lie an old bag of washing as I tend to live in old band t-shirts.

Shirts are OK but all the ones i have seem to need a bit of an iron after washing and i simply can not be bothered. Again, i'm trying to avoid looking scruffy every once in a while.

I'm sure someone will suggest the alpkit one but what else is there? And how do you wash it without it looking like a crumpled rag?

Give a stretch into shape, including the collar, cuffs, sleeves etc, whilst it's still damp, before you hang it to dry. Same goes for t-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts etc

My Uniqlo ones never need ironing, I thought that was part of the point of flannel shirts generally.

Just shake it out and hang it up while it’s still a bit damp?

IDK, I’ve only ironed one shirt in about 10 years. That was because I’d put it in the tumble drier and left it too long. Our iron sits dusty and unused in the corner of the laundry room.

I never iron mine, but then i rarely wash them anyway, as they don't go next to my skin and don't get muddy. But I do always hang them out to dry which minimises creasing.

I just put them on a hanger to dry but thats more to keep the collar and shoulders in shape.

I can iron a shirt in about the same time that it takes to do all that! 😀

And I like ironing - and I catch up on some TV while doing it.

This 👆🏻. Wash, put on a hanger and put the hanger on the washing line, job jobbed. I’ve got a bunch of Uniqlo flannel shirts, they often come in different weights/thicknesses, so some are perfect for winter/autumn or cool evenings, others for warmer weather. However, I tend to live in band or old MTB t-shirts, unless it’s a bit cool, then I put a flannel shirt or fleece over the top. But then, I live alone, so I have nobody to nag or grumble about what I’m wearing.

I've got 3 Dixxon Flannels. Just put on a hanger after washing. They hold up pretty well. I'm not a fan of ironing.
