I have a single page website that is accessed through a .co.uk address.
When you visit it the address bar changes to show the hosting page address.
How do I stop it doing that and keep the .co.uk address in place?
Is your hosting site just doing a redirect?
In an ideal world your hosting account is connected straight to your domain using nameservers. That's how I've always understood it.
You need to connect your hosting account directly to your domain.
(it can get very messy quickly so someone else with better knowledge chime in.)
I'm sure there was something about framed forwarding which did it but its been that long I've forgotten.
Sounds as though you need to update the DNS record to point to the correct site instead of just doing a redirect.
Has this behaviour changed or always been the case?
Who is your hosting package with and who have you registered your domain name with?
123-reg & blogger.com
Found the option, they'd moved it and messed with the layout since i'd had to do it last.
Now I need to work out how to not let blogger auto shorten the page and I'm sorted.
