I've got a door that will cover the washing machine but need to drill it for the hinges. Where could I get this done?

Anyone know what tool is needed to do this? Is there a standard jig?

Many thanks

Ha, The bain of the Kitchen fitters life!

You need a 35mm TCT Hinge hole cutter and a steady hand, or a drill press/router ideally.

There's no jigs available I don't think, I always mark up carefully, and drill by hand if having to do it on site with my plunge router. I usually set the hinges on the machine then measure down from the worktop, remember to allow for door offsets. Drill a bit at a time as on thin doors (15mm) the hinge hole will be nearly all the way through the door.

Bit plus marking out jig.

You still need to measure where on the door to put it though.

The jigs are for normal cabinet hinges, which can be different offsets to washing machines. hand marking is a better way for me.
