Hi im guessing if you have opened this you will know a lot more about fishing gear than me !!!!
my grandad left me a couple of reels and its time i passed them on to someone who may use them .

just want some advice as to the value etc

Cant tell size by the pics, but the Sun and Planet trout reels by Malloch fetch over £200.

presumably you have already googled the name and discovered PD Malloch is still trading as a shop in Perth, although it is a trading name of another firm now.

My dad got over £700 for a vintage fixed spool reel that went to Italy over eBay.

there's some nuts collectors out there for classic fishing brands.
