He needs the truth.

It's what friends are there for.

Encourage the relationship to blossom, and then keep us posted on his descent into madness 😀

He is interested about having the ride of his life but he is concerned that a cycling forum is giving him dating advice. Weird I know

Maybe just checking she isn't a well known Strava segment...

My comment was inappropriate then, hence why it’s been removed. There is censorship here then.

This Louise?

Louise has never been averse to taking a man on in the ring.

Bad move. Means people won't really start missing him until Monday. By then he's a broken man.

True but explain there's a Louise involved and it's immediately actionable.

Isn't that a dangerous urban myth and if you have good reason to believe a missing person needs help, to report it immediately?

from https://missingpersons.police.uk/resources/reporting-someone-missing

Dial 101 and inform them you would like to make a missing persons report, alternatively you can attend your local police station. It is a common belief that you have to wait 24 hours before reporting but this is not true, you can make a report to the police as soon as you think a person is missing.

Not in this case. It would go like this,

*Dial 999
"Hello, what's your emergency?"

"Activate Louise protocol!"

"ALL STATIONS TO FULL ALERT! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!"

“ALL STATIONS TO FULL ALERT! THIS IS NOT A DRILL! I REPEAT, THIS IS NOT A DRILL!”

This is the point at which you turn round and drop the phone in horror as you discover Louise standing behind you, clutching a modified Black and Decker and grinning.....

Apparently Louise translates quite well in Mandarin. It's pronounced 'Ling'.

Yes, based on very clear rules.

To be clear, there isn't censorship, there is however a code of conduct. I wouldn't be a moderator on any forum which actively censored opinions.

(I didn't see the removed post so can't comment on that directly I'm afraid.)

I've tried translating Louise into French and come up with Sophie (no I've never gone out with a Sophie) and as we're not being sexist about this, Michel.
