Doesn't work at all on Win7 64. Just hangs on opening web pages.
Well done MOzilla you broke my working Firefox 3.6
Anybody else having issues?
Just spotted that in its hung broken form it's using up 1.4GB ram.
Works great on my W7 64bit.
Well done Mozilla for another good product.
Anyone else not have issues?
I might switch to FF4 from Chrome as I'm getting tired of the shockwave crash issue.
It's 1 a piece at the moment, for or against... fight!
Did you do a complete reinstall Drac or over the top?
No problem on my W7 64 bit either.

Just an update IIRC.
^ I've had a search and come up with a few people with my problem.
The main issue I had with the old one was memory leakage, but now it;s just bust.
It's only clicking on google links that hangs it, I can type in URLs ok.
Pain in the arse
FF4 on 4 machines at home, XP Pro, Win7 32 bit x1 64 bit x 2 all working perfectly all updated not clean install.
Only thing I'm missing is the Noia theme as its not out for FF4 yet
No problems here either, was a fresh install then mapped to my old 3.6 profile and Robert's your father's brother.
Win 64 ( and a few machines with XP ) and Firefox 4 - works wonderfully.
I take it you have disabled any add-ons and as the problem comes from clicking on links done a full spyware/malware scan on your PC ?
Works fine on my 3 computers running XP, Win7 32 and Win7 64!
completely wiped clean, no reminants of old mozilla anywhere
, no issues of maware etc.
another one here running ff4 perfectly fine both on work machine and at home, both win7 64bit.
I got bored of chrome's crashing and lack of options for my work machine for clearing history/cache etc... on closing the browser.
really like ff4.
Anyone else not have issues?
+1 - no issues here on my XP laptop, XP virtual machine or my Vista64 desktop.
Works perfectly (and adds a little drag-handle to expand the Post Reply box, which is nice)
cp - did you import bookmarks from Chrome?
+1 for no problems at all - I love the new one running on 64bit Win7...
no bother here either 7/64
ourkidsam - no, didn't bother - I didn't have many anyway.
Cheers - found it anyway - you need to export from Chrome first
Had loads of problems with FF 3.5 on W7 64bit so never bothered upgrading. Much prefer Chrome these days anyway - even though it's not nearly so plugin-happy.
Works perfectly on my Win 7 64bit machine
the odd crash here, been running it since beta. repeatedly crashes with flash video which is dull and fire ftp plugin behaves very oddly.
works ok on W7 64 here, though the text rendering is a bit meh. I've switched to Chrome for the time being.
Working a treat for me too - bloody quick I may add

Blame Microsoft and your graphics card drivers 🙂
If you turn off hardware acceleration (Tools->Options->General->Browsing->untick "Use hardware acceleration when available") then the text will render as it used to.
(You might also be able to keep some acceleration and just set gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.enabled to false in about:config - but that's a little scary for some)
Works great on my W7 64bit. +1
uninstalled, wiped any trace of firefox from system, restarted, reinstalled, works ok for now.
Interesting how many 64bit users there are and yet only microsoft produce a proper working 64bit browser (not that it would make that mich difference)
still farked
w7/64 here too, FF4 just dropped straight in and works really nicely.
Have you done a windows update Quirrel? Scrolling wasn't working in FF4 from my trackpad but a windows update fixed it
its been very slow for me
