Yes seen it here in Arbroath like a double flash, I was in the woods on my bike scarpered big time out of there. It was like lightning but its a lovely night here so it wasnt that. Where abouts are you?

Aparently it was a meteor crashing into us. Thats from Facebook so "might" not be 100% true

yeah I was out on the bike on some back roads, suddenly went very light so looked up to see a meteorite whizzing across the sky, this was over Aberlour heading east / west at 6.45pm very cool

Lit up the carpark at Scolty woods for us (Banchory, Aberdeenshire). Don't panic and keep pedalling!

Yeah i wondered what it was, just northside of Glasgow. I thought someone was taking photos! I just popped out to lock the shed, 2 flashes just like lightning but it was a clear sky so i was confused.
