Brown robot - If you mean the one below the gold clock - Film or musical
Chimneys/boots - Not a clue ignore
gold clock - Time is relevant
leg in window - Education based film
pineapple cocktail - Answer in the question
obey sign - Kurt Russell film
TNT (got the barrels, not sure if the TNT part is a separate clue) - Barrels only
the gun on the floor - Lucky, 6 or unlucky 5

Brown robot - is not a brown robot, it's a character from an eponymous film though.
Chimneys/boots - not a clue (literally not metaphorically)
gold clock - see previous hint
leg in window - think of famous film milfs
pineapple cocktail - the answer is part of this suggestoin
obey sign - yeah had to google that one; it's a kurt russell film apparently.
TNT (got the barrels, not sure if the TNT part is a separate clue) - it's just one film
the gun on the floor - who would use a gun like that? The bullets are also important.

Anybody help with the stone faces on the walls - are they from the same film? Also am stumped on the frying pan despite googling all the hints given so far.

Stone faces can be ignored, frying pan - youve already answered it, just in a long winded way.

63, don't know what I'm missing now.

Stone faces?

What are the paper chain of monkey's holding onto?

The one I am missing is the yellow fire hydrant

I'd have thought that would have been an easy one. Look more closely at the hydrant. The colour is important as is a small detail on it.

What are the paper chain of monkey's holding onto?

It's not relevant. Obvioulsy the monkeys are.

So some of the less obvious clues or those that you might not have reconised as clues include:

The shadow on the wall on the right
To the left of the door with the axe in, there is a very small corporate logo
There is a very faint clue in the sky (betwen the bike and the house with balloons)
The pavement
The snow flake in the window on the far right
The ghostly figure in the window on the right

The white figure was in a BIG kids film.

The gold pocket watch has a (tenuous) link to the red and blue pills on the wall.

USA on the wall - what's it called when you paint letters on someone else's wall?

I'm stuck on the oyster, the sword and one more I haven't found yet.

What kind of shoes is the chicken wearing?

Clown in the basement - the actor who played it is a CLUE (that's very cryptic, but the answer is there)

Cougar - what did you think they were?

I thought they were Jack Sparrow's boots.

S

omeone did one of these for rock bands a few years ago that I was much better at - does anyone remember this, and where I might find it?

There have been a series online by a magazine over the years, Maxim or Total Film or someone like that. There's also an App, "Say What You See." Both web site and app would grey out the clues when you'd got them right.

Tortoise

It's not a tortoise.

gold clock/watch - nothing coming up for 11:55 or noon
red face - elmo?
frying pan
blue bird on sign
face in the stone above door no idea if its a clue or not
dinosaur(?) shadow on wall

That's odd, cos I got a film from them. Or thought I had.
3 or 4 correct guesses have been from the wrong clue, eg phone box, blue bird

Just realised I'm actually stuck on the alarm clock in the window - thought it was a clue to something that was actually something else (if that makes sense).

**edit** never mind - I blame the terrible colour balance on my work screen!

Just in case you didn't realise (and I only did once I completed it) it adds all the ones you have got to the bottom half of the screen.

Is the wolf a seperate clue or is it only linked to the street? Tried a few wolfy type/related films
