I got to 52 then started to slow down...
edit: 57 and I think that's me done.
40 then beat.
45, but need sleep, plenty of clues left
Needs a screen bigger than a phone...I will be back.
Stalled at 57... fun though
60 and there's another 5 or so things I can see where I just don't know the movie!
60.
[s]59[/s]
60
Most of the stuff I can't get is pretty obvious....
The gold clock
The dude in denim
The frying pan / saucepan / wok (whatever it is!)
The faces on the right-hand wall
The white doggy-thing with the cross through it
The pink flowers in the window (next to the chef from Ratatouille...)
That's got to be up to 65 with those...
[s]62[/s]
63
The frying pan / saucepan / wok (whatever it is!)
The answer is in this quote
Well there goes my early night! Stuck on 57 with what I think are 7 clues I can spot and some mentioned here that I didn't so some that I think are clues are not.
The wolf and deer are really annoying me - they look familiar but all my answers so far are wrong.
The red alarm clock in the window and the boots on the roof
The frying pan and Gold watch also has me stumped.
Are the TNT barrels part of the sam answer as the whip on top of them?
Sod it, i'm going to bed!
65! Bosh!
wobbliscott:
Where is the Wolf? What would be its current address?
The deer? Come on! 😉
The alarm clock in the window isn't red. It's another colour somewhere between red and yellow.
Those aren't boots on the roof, they're just part of the roof!
Frying pan is a bit of a lame clue, but as above, the answer's in the name...
Gold watch is also a bit lame, it's the time that's the important bit. Not very precise time though.
TNT barrels and the whip are separate movies. The barrels is the obvious answer involving barrels. Try using numbers instead of spelling them out, took me a few goes to get the right syntax on this one.
Of the ones I was stuck on, I don't think the bloke (other than the mask and spider), the faces or the flowers were actually clues.
The alarm clock, watch and frying pan stumped me, as did the red face sign on the wall.
The wolf one is quite clever as it is linked to one of the other answers.
Stalled at 55
48 and a bit stuck now. i recognise a lot more, but just cant think of the film names! argh!
Ooh. Cheers for the link.
59 now, still can't get the frying pan though 😆
59, but although it goes green signifying my next one is right, it doesnt go up, and doesnt appear in my list
Frying pan - the film starred Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman...
Stuck at 61, is there something faint on the gable end brick work high up?
Some I'm sure are right but they're not being accepted. For instance the red face on the wall
Yes 🙂Stuck at 61, is there something faint on the gable end brick work high up?
Try two words instead on one. Some are annoying like that.myopic - Member
Some I'm sure are right but they're not being accepted. For instance the red face on the wall
61... Stuck on the ghost in the window, the pink flowers in the window, the origami unicorn, and one more that I haven't even spotted the clue for...
Thanks Willh - that should def be 1 word!
Ghost in the window - try the obvious answer!
Pink flowers aren't a clue.
Origami unicorn is from a sci-fi classic and you'd really need to have seen the film, no connection to the title.
Still can't get the barrels...
the paper unicorn?
the stuff above the red or blue?
There is a house sign saying obey?
and going through my horror films for the fist window on the left and the creepy clown in the basement...
48/65
Stuck at 63 with man in denim to go and one more
65 and done !
58/65 thus far.
Stuck on the leg (it's off a cover but I can't place it, something like Showgirls or something); the watch; the red / white / blue symbols on the left wall; the smear on the chimney stack; the red face (which so should be St Elmo's Fire); and a couple more I've maybe not even found yet. It'd help if I could blow up the picture rather than viewing it through a thumbnail.
EDIT: you can, I'm a plumb.
Oh yeah, the seagull? on the signpost.
There is a house sign saying obey?
Kurt Russell movie, if you've not seen it you'll not guess it.
Stuck on the leg (it's off a cover but I can't place it, something like Showgirls or something)
go back a few more years for that one, classic poster & film
Stuck at 56, but need to go to bed. Thanks for the link!
Would anyone like to help with the blue cube or the gold clock? Kinda bugging me...
The Blue Cube appears in some recent superhero films
(I think but I got about 4 from the wrong clues so far)
well thats got me 61 and not much work done so far today..
Think I'm missing
The Birds on the Roof
The Bird on the Sign
The figure on the gable end
The Guy in Denim
[s]The Shadow on the right[/s]
Which should make 65... either that or I've missed something somewhere else
Cougar - Moderator
Oh yeah, the seagull? on the signpost.
It's not a seagull, it's a...
Right, down to the frying pan and the gold clock.
you will be kicking yourself when you get them..... if that is the case with the bird on the sign then I've missed the red face, really stumped now
Just got the frying pan one, random guess, never heard of the movie though.
Up to 62 now. Still don't know what the cube thing or the clock is, but;
yes. You've nearly got it.The Birds on the Roof
Should really be much darker in colouration. The Bird on the Sign
who is really well camouflaged, ideal if he was a sort of hunter...The figure on the gable end
i think the spider and the makeup are important, not sure about the denim. The Guy in Denim
Damn I'm awake too late...
Damm that means there are 3 I have no idea about... got all the above now and up to 62, the 2 on the guy in Denim probably means he is done.
As somebody posted before it's more about the time than the clock and the blue cube hint was above.
I think I'm now stuck with the little dinosaur and the red face on the white house
Still need the clock, the snowflake and two I haven't even seen yet (unless they are the stone faces and the flowers)
The little dinosaur and the red face both have names
[s]See I'm undecided on the snowflake as I have 63 and unless I have already got the dino and face thinking they were something else that would leave me 3 clues & 2 answers[/s]
64 😉 So I've guessed one by mistake and think it could the the Dinosaur... I recognise the damm face too
Ha ha
The face is in a film, but his name isn't the name of the film. Doesn't say a great deal
The red face is an easy one, i courierd you the answer Mike but i think the plane crashed.
Some impressive work there! I need to watch more films...
Stuck on 64, clock has me stumped !
64 and giving up.
stuck on 64 too, the stone faces is the one that has me stumped
wasn't the stone faces, got all 65 now woohoo!!!!
Wilson!
The little dinosaur has me stumped, I know I've seen it before!
Also the feint brown robot looking thing on the top of the house. Definitely seen it somewhere.
Also the one that looks like ghost busters didn't register for me.
Stuck on 64, can't work out the 2 black boot type shapes in the roof, clue?
the red face is a two word answer - took me a while to realise
For the dinosaur think Japanese lizard.
Robot thing, think scary 1950's radio hoax.
Also the one that looks like ghost busters didn't register for me.
"ghost busters" isn't two words.
It's a ****ing frying PAN!!
the gold watch: the time is important
Pretty sure (although I'm on 63, so could be wrong) that the 'boots on the roof' are just chimneys...
Edit; this is NOT a cryptic clue!
Got upto 64 finally, but cant work out the snowflake, probably very obvious.
Got upto 64 finally, but cant work out the snowflake, probably very obvious.
Just 'let it go' and it will come to you
Andermt, let it go...
V8, The boots on the roof are indeed just chimneys.
Thanks to the OP, the entire department is on it 🙂
Got them all, little bit of googlage, little bit of help from co workers.
2 hours well spent.
What is the symbol, that looks like a bird in a circle, between the wolf and the dinosaur?
^^You must be getting hungry trying to work out the bird in the circle.
Girl that's good with a bow
^^You must be getting hungry trying to work out the bird in the circle.
I haven't seen it but I have now got it. Thanks
I've got one more to get and I can't believe that the guy with the spider on his shoulder and the guido fawkes mask is only one film.
None of the 'spider man' suggestions I've made have been accepted. Am I off track with the idea?
Depends if you are scared of spiders....
I can't believe that the guy with the spider on his shoulder and the guido fawkes mask is only one film.
It's not; the spider and the mask are two films.
What bloody snowflake? I haven't even seen that.
The boots on the roof are indeed just chimneys.
That's odd, cos I got a film from them. Or thought I had.
im embarrassed to admit but im struggling with the green hat and the owl with the envelope... as well as the gold clock, chimneys and the birds on roof like everyone else... 60/65
Cougar - what did you think they were?
you may not have seen the snowflake, but you have definately heard it.
What bloody snowflake? I haven't even seen that.
A little above the rat/chef character on the far right side of the image.
I've got the mask reference but not the spider one and i've tried all the obvious marvel comics references
Green hat is a bit mad.
Owl with the envelope - magical.
OK got it - spelt it wrong
but not the spider one
If you were afraid of spiders, might you be a little 'phobic?
im embarrassed to admit but im struggling with the green hat and the owl with the envelope... as well as the gold clock, chimneys and the birds on roof like everyone else... 60/65
The Green Hat belongs to someone from the film.
The Owl - funny but I only got that because I've just started reading my eldest the books
Gold Clock - two young people on a train having a long conversation
The birds on the roof are just trying to 'hitch' a lift
Anybody help with the stone faces on the walls - are they from the same film? Also am stumped on the frying pan despite googling all the hints given so far.
