Vans everywhere this morning and reels of cable being sunk up our street. Guy grunts that we're getting 'proper' broadband.
We already have fibre to the cabinet but then 500m to the house in wire. Now that these fibre links are in, who do we check with to see when we can get a faster service?
We're not bad at about 50 at the moment but with two working from home an upgrade would be very welcome! We have Vodafone at the moment and their checker doesn't mention it yet - is it only BT that can offer it or is it immediately available to all service providers?
Smaller rectangular boxes seem to be being installed around the place which I assume is the link up point rather than the existing bigger cabinets?
