I don't use a landline and Sky are putting their prices up again, so with fibre optic recently coming to the area it might be time to do a swap, does anyone know if you need a landline with fibre optic broadband?
You don't need a landline for Cable Broadband
but it is about 12p cheaper per month
edit: Just checked and it is about £6 cheaper

dont get the tv options though
cheaper than last time I looked I may well ditch the phone and tv
You need to check what the fibre optic offer is if its FTTC then you need a landline FTTP you dont.
£17 per month for 10meg off virgin. no telly or phone for me, just broadband. dont forget to deduct line rental and vat when you're pricing
