Anyone any experience of this system, it's been highly recommended to me by a professor who worked on the hub of all things and seems a good way of keeping your data.
Love the idea of the Pebble sensors as well.
I'm thinking of setting up a smart lighting and heating system with room for expanding the system.
Does the system rely on a cloud-based app?
How certain are you that said servers will be maintained for the life of your system?
Is it secure and are regular updates posted for firmware and/or software?
Honeywell currently have their systems down for "maintenance" until next month. Many people are not impressed that their kit requires them to set things manually and customer service is non-existent. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2019/02/04/honeywell_remote_service_down/
Not heard of it before - looks to be a pretty comprehensive solution but after checking the pricing it also seems pretty far on the premium end of the spectrum (the wall plugs are £55 for example). I could see it would be popular with people with deep pockets and paying someone to install a load of kit at once but a bit overkill for someone that is likely to only ever want the basics like lighting & heating controls.
