My father in law is still looking for a car and has seen a two year old Fiat Doblo for very little money .
Is it any good? It's the 1.6 diesel in medium spec.

I can't speak for the one he is looking at but we love ours. Bought at 23,000 and now at 80,000, was just routine service parts until recently with a few more issues like glowplugs etc. Still not huge bills. Loads of space for toys and drives better than it should.

Makes people think you are a taxi and try to flag you down.

Orange Crush has one & judging by what he had in his on Ton's Touring Weekend I reckon he thinks it's actually a Transit or something.

Ours is an older one - 58 plate.
Boringly reliable, surprising fun to drive.
Crazy amount of space.

Amazing vehicle - I'd have another.

We've had a 1.9 for 8 years now and it's coming up to 11 years old. I love it and would certainly get another. The car no one wants but everyone needs.

I've just woke up and logged in, my eyes hadn't quite adjusted and I had to double take at this post as I thought it was "fat dildo" 😆

Fat didlo. That no one else wants but need wrightyson 😀

Doblos are ace. I'd have one but it'd to be dusty/dirty and dented. Then its sublime cool. Shiny and clean it'll look tragically ugly.

MsD recently bought an ex motability version. rear seats stripped out & adapted for a wheelchair with one rear 'jump' seat next to the lefthand sliding door.
The amount of space is incredible, reckon we could get all our bikes in there in one go.

They are awesome in a weird way. I would have one for lugging the kids and bikes about.

I bought the 1.9 jtd doblo cargo, an 05 plate with 106,000 miles on it and no service history. (A cheap punt).
I keep expecting it to go wrong, but it hasn't. I'm pleased with it.
