I'm in need of some festoon lighting... 240v, 10metre in length with vintage style bulbs dangling from it at different lengths and a plug at the end. I would like some advice as to what cable and fittings I need to make my own. Each bulb will be no more than 60w. Is it possible to do this?

Known as 'prick through' lighting. It was used by the military for years until they, amazingly, found something that was safer!

That's a really generous offer. I need to buy/make some so I can use it in a display, but thanks for the offer.
