Who's doing this?

A crazy Irish guy completed a 313 mile ride in England on Christmas Eve. He started at about 02:30 in the morning!...

I'm at 52% of the way there so far after a horrid 105 mile ride yesterday in the wind and rain. I'm working today so clocked up 14 miles on the way in and will do another 35 on the way home tonight. Feel a little guilty not having risen early on Christmas day and increased my tally but I want to hit the target before the weekend so I can relax and get bladdered.

Did it last year, haven't been on a bike properly in about 5 weeks now though, so think it's a little late for a last ditch attempt.

I signed up for it. But the weather is so bad ... no chance of getting anywhere near it.

The thought of long wet and windy rides. When its the last chance before Easter to relax. And all for a little badge to put in the bike spares box..

Ive really talked myself out of it I think ..

I'm getting sucked into it. Up to yesterday I'd only completed 30 odd miles then decided to go for a ride which got longer and longer. The weather was so bad but I treated it like most of my commutes which have been in horrid weather lately. I'm now thinking it's not so bad after all. It's a difficult challenge in this weather but I guess the key is little and often say two short rides a day. Unsurprisingly there's plenty of Aussies at the top of the leader board.
