Mazzy Star / Hope Sandoval any good?
Cat Power? Haven't listened to her in a while but enjoyed her stylings a few years ago.
Beth Gibbons/Portishead?
Cat power! That was the other one I was trying to remember. Used to enjoy her stuff until an embarrassing incident involving one of her tunes, some spinach and a colleague in a pub in mid Wales.
Still, it's been 3 yrs now. Wounds heal and I reckon I can listen to her again without suffering flashbacks.
Caitlin Rose. Country tinged songstress.
'Wrecking Ball' by Emmylou Harris..?
Beth Hart?
Good list of names unknown to me there. Will look forward to punching them into YouTube later
Thanks
