I added the copper twist as an interesting highlight. Better with or without it?
Without
just the man....Nick, email me please.
the lamp is better without
Ton - YGM
Without.
Cool though. How many parts do you have, incidentally?
Does the lamp get hot? The copper wire might help stop you burning your hand lol
Ps good use of ephemera! 🙂

If you mean raw material parts, then this was it before I started and I used most for the lamp

Trouble is, I was talking to a 'proper' artist last Friday and showed him the engine wine rack and the clock I had done, just to ask his opinion and suggest improvements. He was doing a private exhibition last Saturday for Lord Rothschild and some of his friends and he showed Nick, as I like to call Lord Rothschild, who asked to add them to the exhibition.
I was happy with that and pleased when the clock sold but then Nick said he was having another exhibition in October and could I share a few more pieces as the single wine rack wasn't enough for an artist to display. Now I have to decide if I want to produce four or five new pieces for the exhibition or not.
I only do this stuff for my own pleasure and only sell / give away the results to clear space and help pay for materials so I don't think I will do too much more for Lord R.
My wife works in a shop that sells upcycled stuff. That kind of thing would be good in there.
Love the wine rack and light is cool too.
Do like that. And, without.
Copper has been removed
🙂

Where, it is heavy to post?
Now scheduled for 5 weeks display in the 5 Arrows Gallery at Exbury if you want to see/but it
That lamps never going to get into second gear with an input shaft like that!!!
I see you've got a brake disc left over - I've got a stack sat in my garage waiting for inspiration too.
If that's a Lucas sidelight for a landrover, sell the lamp as 'no warranty given or implied' as it'll give up the ghost a year or two down the road. Horrid things!
