It's been about 4-5 weeks now since I strained the muscles in my left knee (that's what I think i've done anyway), it still hurts and seizes up now and again. I think I did it when trail running but there wasn't an instant reaction it just sort of came on so I cannot be sure. Apart from attempting a run after the first week, having to stop half way round, I haven't been able to run or go mtbing since. It is now getting very frustrating because it doesn't seem to be improving, obviously I am trying to rest and manage it whilst still working but this is hard given my job and I have continued to commute on the road bike. Should I go and see a doctor or is it just a matter of time? How long before I can return to full fitness?
