Mostly because the in-car footage of James Garner was really him driving. Can you imagine a Hollywood actor doing that today?

I always had a soft spot for Victory, starring Pele. But we have seen a few with the kids, recently, and really enjoyed them.

I did but not as much as Slapshot. There's a wealth of films to be made about NHL players!

Forgot about Cool Runnings, totally brilliant film.

Drac, to give myself the benefit of the doubt, I'm living entirely off memory here. The whole thing is probably shite. I was nine when it came out; I didn't know what shite was.

+1 for Dirt, but honourable mention for Happy Gilmore. I would say Le Man, for a fantastic seventies score, luscious looking and sounding 917s and 512s, an ace crash scene and it's got Steve McQueen in. More currently, I really enjoyed MMA bandwagon joiner Warrior - all the fighty stuff but a decent and well-acted story, too.

On Any Sunday

Forgot about that as well! Long ago before you lot were born in the late 70's, they put that on at the SSDT in Fort William at the 'cinema' down the main street.
Steve McQueen was handy on a bike.
