Kung Fu Hustle or Shaolin Soccer.
Drunken Master or maybe The Magnificent Butcher for classic movies but I have to say I really do like Kung Fu Panda.
Crouching Tiger, but generally fighting (and gun fights and car chases and explosions) in films bores me to tears.

Impossible to decide! The genre is just too broad and there are too many great artists. Overall Donnie Yen (Ip Man) might be my favourite but I think Ong Bak is my favourite film, mainly because it just blew me away the first time I saw it. Amazing fights, proper LOL comedy moments and incredible Jackie Chan-style stunts!
House of Flying Daggers, for its wonderful sound engineering. The first time i saw it was in a Bose showroom, where it sounded awesome. Quite westernised, but sill very enjoyable.
Fearless, for being brilliant. More of a classic kung fu style.
Sooo many to choose from but anyone who likes the genre and hasn't seen these should check out.....
Fist of Legend. Once Upon a Time in China. The Blade. True Legend. Zatoichi and there's loads more. My favourite might be Kung Fu Hustle though.
Fatal Flying Guillotine
The Duellists, the very first duel and the two duels with sabres are very good, the duel with 'the sneeze' is great in its unexpected way.
The Matrix. Well duh.
The Princess Bride has significant amounts of swordplay and the duel atop the cliffs of insanity is the best sword fight in cinema history.
Enter the Dragon. Great film.
Karate Kid 2
Enter the Dragon! Still the best.

I couldn't get into When the last sword is drawn. Loved Ip man though. 13 Assasins is well worth a watch.

Huge levels of awesomeness - from the 70s before cgi and silly stunts.
my old room mate had a original vhs of samurai sluts from hell, part 2.
With you all the way racefaceec90 - subtitled version even makes sense as well; the dubbed is ****ing nonsense.
Yuen Biao rocked and wasn't in nearly enough films & Samo Hung was was just amazing for a fat man

+1 for The Raid, especially when you consider the tiny budget.
Watched Raid 2 at the weekend and that was equally as good but maybe a bit too hardcore for me-violence cranked up to 11.

Ong Bak, Armour of God, Meals on Wheels, Enter the Dragon, Once upon a time in China and Drunken Master for me. All predictable choices, but all brilliant in my eyes.
Not sure if it's my favourite but I watched Wu Xia (Dragon) the other day - it's on Netflix and it's well worth a watch.
I'd forgotten about Zatoichi... Stunning film.... Must try and find it again

Ah c'mon now Old boy's not a martial arts movie. And Seven Samurai seems tenuous. But if you're going there, Sanjuro is the finest Samurai movie ever made, bar none. Chocolate, meh.

Incidentally, quite a few good Asian martial arts films on Netflix that you may not have heard of. Worth a rummage.

Zatoichi was a good one too. Haven't watched any Kung Fu films for years.

'The Man From Nowhere' has a great knife fight in it.
'A Bittersweet Life' has some brilliant fight scenes, and is a wonderful film.

Kung Fu Hustle for it's humour and fantasy, comic-book martial arts.*
The Ip Man series for their brilliant fight scenes and humility.
Red Cliff for it's epicness and being a martial arts movie not just about a single hero/ ego.

1 Bourne - amazing semi- real world Krav Maga
2 Kill Bill - homage to old school samurai films
3 Daniel Craig era Bond - also Krav Maga I believe.
This is the best. I'll not hear another word about it.
