Ah bugger 🙁

My and my Dad went to see him, along with Chuck Berry & Little Richard in Sheffield in 1995. Seem to recall he was ill back then!

Wow - tbh, I assumed he was much older and had died a long time ago.
Had a tape of a 'best of' as a teen and played it to death.

Blueberry Hill
My Blue Heaven

My gateway to the blues

My gateway to the blues

with due respect to Fats, RIP. Is blues the most overrated genre ever?

Hardly, when most modern popular and rock music owes its existence to blues.
The poster of this statement should do his music history homework.
