What can I get my dad for father's day, we do a fair bit of mountain biking and he does handyman work (woodwork and metal work but seems to have all the tools).

Any ideas on what I can get him for around £10 - £20????

Thanks in advance 😄

Speaking as a Dad, go for a ride with him and spend some time with him, just the two of you.  Mid ride, sit down, have a rest and give him a hug.  Much more valuable.

A retractable, spring loaded 2m pole with a boxing glove on the end that plays a well known song chorus by The Police as it sends social distance offenders flying. 😉

Negotiate time off ALL his house duties for a whole day and go for a long ride with him, at the end give him a bottle of beer and a bag of crisps, sit him down, wash lube and put away his bike.
That would make my day....
(Is it you?.....)

Not seen my stepkids or grandkids since lockdown.

A hug (I know) and an 'I love you', face to face, would be perfect.

Hmm, I could do with some new trollies, and as my daughter works at Tesco she gets a generous discount on clothes.

Thanks Mulacs. Facebook suggested I deserved an Omega Speedmaster, but undies would definately be more practical. Got quite a volume of socks.

My wife bless her thought it was today. We had a lovely big breakfast then me and tyred Jr the elder went out on a 4hr ride over all the local hills before heading home and stuffing our faces with a cake his wee brother baked. I then went out a solo road ride, came back, ace dinner, wine and chocolates and solo control of the telly remote (euro 2004 re run, Holland-Czech Republic). Looking forward to telling them all next Sunday will follow the same script!

A pack of new Stanley Knife blades delivered with a pint at the end of a good ride.

Dad - you need a beer and some new blades but other than that you are great!

The new blades are something which are always useful but not a big present which acknowledges the fact the time together was the gift.

Plus sharp blades are so much nicer to work with
