So, notwithstanding the fact that they've pissed off early for the week because it snowed 36h ago, what is the fastest way to get them to buy the right amount if bandwidth from Openworld? All the online help recommendations make me think that I'm going to spend a wasted half day or so confirming to them that we've turned off all wifi devices, plugged into master socket and all that tosh. Are there some magic words that'll make them cut to the chase?
Could be a local contention issue.
Have you done speedtests using a cable plugged in to the router incase it is local wifi interference?
You have to jump through the tier1 hoops and exhaust their questions before getting to Tier2, they are just doing their job.
So what if I don't have any devices capable of taking an ethernet connection? I do, but could do without the hassle of moving desktop pc out into the hall.
I'm pretty sure it is a contention issue....considering the only times of the week when it drops out.....how would Plusnet fix it...is it as simple as bunging a few quid to BT or whoever owns the copper or fibre going into the greem box?
