I've been asked for a friend, who is starting a livestock trading company in Germany, to help with some translation work - German into English.
Now, my English - she is not so bad, but there are terms for livestock that I am not totally certain about. Can anyone help check that the following are the correct, recognised terms for various types of moo cow:
-bullocks and heifers
-feeder calves
-springers and cows
-fattening cows
-all sorts of fatstock
-weaners of German origin
-fattening bullocks and heifers
-fattening cows
-Fleckvieh and crossbreeds from the 14th day
-Holstein Friesians from the 14th day
-newly calved cows of various breeds
-gestating heifers
-suckler cows of all breeds
Sheep
Pigs
Chicken
Duck
Rats
Spiders
Mice
Foxes
Spiders
More spiders
More rats
All these live on farms too.. think of them as wel eh.

Are you trying to have a translation table in the op? It's not very clear. Maybe number the terms.
The only one that looks out of place is gestating heffer.
Don't recognise the two items "from the 14th day" other than that they are all valid terms for cattle if slightly odd English in some.

There's a whole load of other text for the website, that another friend has translated and I've checked as a native speaker, but neither one of us is certain about the different categories/types.
Turns out that Fleckvieh is a breed of dual purpose cattle.
