Don't like the bloke but chasing him out of a pub while he is with his children shows the protesters are at least as big a ****s as he is.

that's appalling behaviour - great way to abandon any moral high-ground

just because he's an arse there's no merit in bullying him and especially his family

Chairman Mao was right power do come from the barrel of the gun although in this case no gun was used, but power through violent, intimidation and force do work. At least one person Farage had to leg it or face physical damage to himself and his family. I bet his family members are also now legitimate target for the "want to change the world view" kind of people.

Can we all run amok now like ZM? Could be fun like trying to change the world ... 😆

Seems the guy who led the protest has form, ended up grounding an island lifeline flight out of Aberdeen airport.

Don't like Farage in the slightest but don't see what his family did to deserve that.

What does "chased" mean ?

Apparently this is someone being "chased" :

[img] [/img]

And this is what was chasing him :

[img] [/img]

Farage regularly uses going to the pub as a political stunt

[img] [/img]

I reckon it's legitimate therefore that those who oppose him politically should also use his pub visits in exactly the same way that he does - to make a political point/stunt.

Depends which version of events you believe doesn't it? But no matter what he seems to have driven off and left his kids behind, that's properly shit. Either that or he hasn't, and claimed he did, which is insane.

Protesters harrassing him when he's "off duty" and with the kids? That's pretty shit too frankly. But it doesn't look like a murderous mob and Ernie makes a good point, he's made his pub trips into part of the job so does he get to claim sanctuary there? Think it mostly hinges around whether the kids were really there, and exactly what he was running from ...

But his own version of events- that is, the current one, he might have another tomorrow- paints him pretty badly doesn't it? Never mind whether it's true.

Pretty disgraceful from the mob, it will only cost us money as Farage will get a police guard now.

Pretty disgraceful from the mob

I heard that when the "mob" realised that Farage was in the Queen's Head and not the George & Dragon they went through the village dancing in a conga line.

Is there anything more terrifying than a bunch of middle-class herberts in fancy dress dancing in a conga line through a Kent village?

I guess Farage must have been filled with the same terror as Muslims are when drunken EDL thugs turn up in their towns. Perhaps he now understands what it's like to be the victim of hate?

Remember Nigel's trip to Edinburgh? Decided to hold a press conference in a pub without first clearing it with the landlord. No consideration for the people who were out just enjoying a bite to eat and a drink when the media scrum piled in to the pub. So if it's ok for him to spoil other people's time he can hardly complain when it happens to him, can he?

That may be true for your home counties/Southern Muslims but our Northern Muslims dont scare that easy, speshly the Oldham Kashmiri Massiv 😉

Obviously the EDL don't go through northern towns in fancy dress dancing in conga lines - that would send a chill down the spines of northern muslims, ask Nigel Farage.

Those people look absolutely terrifying.

Just for perspective. Britain First, the ultra right wing, racist party, are naming the protestors on their facebook page claiming they have their names and addresses.

A group of protestors dressed as migrants, HIV activists, gay people, disabled people and breastfeeding mums
TBH, I'm not sure what any of those look like, e.g. is there a specific dress code for being disabled?

I think disabled people might have wheels :

Otherwise I'm struggling to make the connection between wheels and migrants, HIV activists, gay people, and breastfeeding mums.

I'm glad to see that Ernie has this covered.

Like any slightly over-inflated Home Counties Tory windbag, Farage is more than capable of producing a mountain of insurrection out of a molehill of cheek.

I don't recall Farage paying any attention to the sensibilities of the Somerset flood victims when he went grandstanding and point scoring on the hour, every hour on Sky News.

He, like the majority of politicians, is an utter <expletive deleted>. Why should he, and politicians generally think that they can on the one day propose policies which will adversely affect peoples' lives, yet on the next go swanning around as if nothing has happened? More hounding, and properly violent attacks for the lot of them I say!

There's a ****ing massive difference between dressing up and protesting an MPs policies and having a psychotic mob of fascist footie hooligans threatening violence on your home..

unless you were trying to make some sort of an attempt at humour in which case I apologise

What do Farage and the EDL have to do with this incident?? Since when do Muslims have their own towns??

I imagine you could manage disabled or breastfeeding fancy dress, but I'm left wondering what the designated mode of dress is for migrants, HIV activists or gay people? Is there some kind of uniform I haven't heard about?

well, in much the same way that i can say:

'in my town' - when talking about me, and my home town.

I can say of someone else:

'in their town'

but you knew that didn't you.

It's a rough old game, politics. MTFU, Nige.

Well I would have thought that it was fairly obvious what Farage has to do with this incident - he was the target of the protesters, ie, the reason they were there. How did you manage to miss that very obvious connection?

And as for the reference to the EDL I would have thought that my comment was perfectly self-explanatory, ie, having lived through the terrifying experience of a hostile mob marching (or dancing in a conga line) through his quaint Kent village Farage must now know how Muslims feel when a hostile mob marches through their towns.

Does that help?

Do the EDL do congas? I think I'd go and watch that. especially if it was a hostile conga, I'm not sure how that would work, but it would be interesting to see.

A long line of people chanting "Come on and do the conga" can be rather intimidating, especially if you are a little shy and reserved. And sober.

EDIT : Having said that I always feel an urgent need to exit whenever I see Morris Dancing. Perhaps the EDL should try Morris Dancing to really piss people off, specially with them being proud of their English heritage and all that.

Very good point - I get annoyed, as in "get that pish off my telly", when I see morris dancing (and I'll include my mate Big Fat Morris in that as well for the sake of inclusion). Given that the EDL seems to be about making already angry people angrier, morris dancing would probably work - except my mate Big Fat Morris, unless he was dancing on your car, then it probably would.

ive been wondering whether the EDL see UKIP as just the political wing of their own far right posse

ermies comments about the edl targeting the congaees and recent edl statements suggesting their supporters should vote ukip
and that stupid tory MP the edl entrapped will undoubtedly benefit ukip in the area

Does that mean other opposing parties are communists or extreme communist related parties? Could Green or Labour etc on the left be the political wing of communism? Do you like communism?

My grandpa was a communist and he gave my grandma syphilis ... 😯 Ya, true story and my grandma told me he was a womanising communist. Ya, my late grandpa was always on moral high ground yet loved to dip his wick ... freely. Bloody communist - grandpa that is.

😆 No, but some genuine questions.

If centre right, right and extreme right equate = dictator/fascism.
Then does that not mean centre left, left and extreme left = dictator/communism?

Therefore, does that not mean the same argument can be applied to all?

Or are you equating the left with lesser evil? If so why?

Which side are you on?

My grandpa was a communist and he gave my grandma syphilis ...

That's probably the most imaginative right-wing argument I have ever heard.

You should make a placard with "My grandpa was a communist and he gave my grandma syphilis" written on it and take it on EDL/BNP/Britain First marches or anti left-wing counter demonstrations 💡

I take it you had a very close relationship with your grandmother if she was willing to share with you who gave her syphilis?

.

ive been wondering whether the EDL see UKIP as just the political wing of their own far right posse

Britain First, if there's any difference between them and the EDL, appear to be making that claim :

That's probably the most imaginative right-wing argument I have ever heard.

It's true. Fact! My grandpa would say chairman Mao was the greatest person in history. He did and he considered western imperialism as exploitation of the weak ... 😛

In fact some of the communists we knew were more entrepreneurial than the capitalist! Fact!

You should make a placard with "My grandpa was a communist and he gave my grandma syphilis" written on it and take it on EDL/BNP/Britain First marches or anti left-wing counter demonstrations

Do you still get STD like syphilis nowadays? I thought it was STD associated with Vietnam war ... no?

I take it you had a very close relationship with your grandmother if she was willing to share with you who gave her syphilis?

Yes, we were and she shared her story with all of us grandchildren. Bear in mind, our culture means we look after our old and live in the same house.

That's what we all said all the time amongst relatives and family members like bloody grandpa might have infected us all with syphilis. Ya, we said it loud amongst the villages and everyone would laugh. Bloody grandpa infected the family with syphilis. I remember whenever he tried to open his loud moral high ground mouth, my grandma would ask him about him visiting prostitutes and hookers ... 😆

edit: you do know I do not support any political ideology? Yes? They are ALL ZM. Yes? Therefore, I am fair to all regardless of your political affiliation.

I'm not doubting that your grandpa gave your grandma syphilis, I just can't help thinking that there are probably more convincing anti-Maoist arguments than "My grandpa was a communist and he gave my grandma syphilis".

I'm assuming that you would still not be an admirer of Mao Tse-tung even if your grandpa had managed to keep his dick away from hookers?

What we used to say that grandpa was pretending to be communist but actually he was more interested in his female comrades and chasing skirts but his macho ideology was just a front for his desire and lust ... 😆

Ya, nobody was anti-Mao because if you are poor regardless of who is in power you are still no better off.

I don't have much opinion of Mao really but he did have a funny hairstyle. 😆

What we used to say that grandpa was pretending to be communist ...

He wasn't even a communist then.

So your argument against the left is : "My grandpa wasn't a communist and he gave my grandma syphilis" ?

I have to say that's even less convincing. I would stick with claiming that he was a communist even if he wasn't.

He wasn't even a communist then.

He was. But he was also a hypocrite towards my grandma ...

So your argument against the left is : "My grandpa wasn't a communist and he gave my grandma syphilis" ?

Try not to read too much into that as I have no hidden meaning behind that except my grandpa was a communist and a hypocrite. 😆

I have to say that's even less convincing. I would stick with claiming that he was a communist even if he wasn't.

Nahh ... We don't even want to defend him for how he treated my grandma. Moral high ground ... ya right ...

Oh ya, my grand uncle (grandpa younger brother) was also an cultural revolution "elite" that got murdered by a "capitalist" relative. Great grandma cried her eye out. One day the red army (the extreme ones) took the revenge for my grand uncle by executing the murderer relative in front of his family. Dragged him out of his house and bullet to the head. End off. They then moved on to more mass murdering ... true story. 😯

Then out of huger our great grandma, grandma and grandpa decided to move to greener pasture as there was too many killings on mainland then they sold their souls to the British missionaries ... for food. When I was a kid I asked them if they actually believed in all those shite they laughed and told me that would believe in anything to survive. Shite or not.

Then the Japanese arrived ... bloody grandpa was enlisted as a Jap teacher (alternative was head off with sword) because he looked like a Jap and could speak Japanese! Crikey, how he managed that we do not know until today.

There you go ... a simple story to cheer everyone up. I do every time I recall the story with my parents and relatives. Particularly regarding my womanising grandpa. I mean FFS even at 70 yr old (he died at 77 yr old) he tried to chat up female coffee shop waitresses in front of my aunt! Aunt used to call him dirty old git. 😆

- Clarkson rants at and punches his producer because he doesn't get a steak for his tea (his own fault) - 'just a bit of a scuffle, lads being lads, it's all just banter innit really, CLARKSON IS A LEGEND!!!'

- Farage gets the piss taken out of him by some silly protesters - 'chased out of a pub by a baying mob WITH HIS KIDS THERE!!! IT'S AN OUTRAGE!!!'

I think both the right and left wing supporters should up their ante by destroying as many of their opponents as possible. It only make sense that both sides retaliate against each.

The system is rotten to the core on both sides so regardless of who are in power they are evil.

Let's see how these groups of ZMs neutralise each other out and let the ordinary hard working folks continue with their own lives.

🙄

If the protestors didn't have video cameras coming out the bum then they're idiots...

But then considering how many news outlets are willing to carry apparently unfounded versions of events, and how keen people are to believe them, would it matter? Protest is essential for democracy, if protest is misrepresented and misreported in the media where are we?

The point here is Farage was having lunch with his family. Comparison to Clarkson is irrelevant other than to say no politician would get 1 million signatures calling for his re-reinstatement.

UKIP doesn't deny it :

“But he not only spied on us, he actually urged some of our members to commit criminal damage.”

Very good point - I get annoyed, as in "get that pish off my telly", when I see morris dancing

What channel are you watching?

Crikey, I know there are some minority interest channels on satellite TV, but one for Morris dancing? That's pretty niche even by today's standards!
