Hi I’m wondering if anybody has any advice on mountain biking for families in the Trentino area of the Dolomites? Looking to ride flowy blue trails, kids can ride Swinley, Whinlater and BPWs blues. Any recommendations appreciated.
Which bit are you staying in?
Assuming you want lift assisted for a day or two.
Was in Canazei last week. Quite a few kiddies cruising the trails on the top half of the hill.
Lower trails are a bit more lose, rocky and steeper than most of those higher up. The trails up the top can be ridden hard or mellow.
Further north is Kronplatz /Bruneck. But there is only one trail that is likely to be suitable (Gassl).
We’re staying in Tenno.
So basically Lake Garda..... (rolly eyes)
A few small trails on Monte Brione. May or May not be allowed there in your bike now It's been a while.
Strada Ponale from Riva towards Lago d'Ledro is fun in both directions.
A fun path from the Castello in Tenno down to Riva. Just be careful, it crosses the road a few times.
Not sure if I'd consider it nor Monte Brione as "blue" trails.
Lago di Garda isn't known for it's mellow trails. Lots of Strada Bianca (fire roads) but not many trails.
