Can anyone offer any tips for renting a house for a weekend in mid June for a family gathering. They'll be 16 of us, 8 adults with 8 kids, 2 of which are toddlers under 2. Arrive Friday and leave Monday.
We'd like a nice location within an hours taxi or bus transfer from the airport with a direct flight to Copenhagen and Stockholm.
Can be Italy, Spain, Portugal, Southern France, Majorca, etc.
Looking for a place now, doesn't need to be cheap, just fit our criteria.

I think you will struggle in France for sure, most lets are Saturday to Saturday. I think Portugal is the same.
It would probably be easier to book a load of rooms in a nice hotel.
