probably a double edged sword but it might be worth giving your views just to screw the bollox press release they have already drafted

Yep, done.
Was a bit stumped for a while with this one -
Build More Dedicated Cycle Lanes BUT NOT ON Existing Roads
or
Build More Dedicated Cycle Lanes BUT ONLY ON Existing Roads

They seem to have something against Sadiq Khan as well for some reason.

That survey is terrible.

It funnels you into their views even if you don't want to be.

I want more

Build More Dedicated Cycle Lanes BUT NOT ON Existing Roads
and
Build More Dedicated Cycle Lanes BUT ONLY ON Existing Roads

so ticked both.

Awful survey, I could smell the gammon simmering whilst doing it. I bet my final comments mean I don't get included.

Strangest most unprofessional survey I've ever had the pleasure of completing..

I used to get offered these quite regularly, must have got on their mailing list somehow. I wonder if giving them some answers that they don't want legitimises the results, (100% gammon shouldn't be possible for an balanced survey) so I stopped.

that was quite a poor, one sided survey and not worth a light.

It may be instructive to see who funds them. This from an article in 2016 so may not be current, but principally the Road Hauliers Association and Freight Transport Association

• The RAC
• Road Haulage Association
• Freight Transport Association
• The Fuelcard Company
• OptIn Haulage insurance specialists
• British Association of Removers
• Movecorp
• Chemical Business Association
• Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation
• Fuel Card Services
• Truckersworld
• BVRLA
• ifw
• Drive.co.uk
• girlracer magazine
• Truckprotect
• ConstructaQuote
• Removals.co.uk
• UKHaulier
• TopMotors news
• Bossreg.com
• Professional Drivers Association

They don't like Sadiq Khan for the same reason lots of Americans couldn't stand Obama, both part of the black/muslamic/marxist conspiracy, which also includes cyclists.

BTW how do you have penalties for tax avoidance when it's legal?

Some of those questions are ridiculously loaded and I would be highly suspicious of some of the figures quoted.

Oh my. For such an obviously biased questionnaire that requires a lot of personal info that "will be retained but not passed on to third parties" I daresay that it'll be cited in every DfT publication for the foreseeable.

Dear me what is that awful thing and why should give them my data? They say absolutely nothing about what they’re campaigning for.

Yeah I've done mine, for what little it's worth

The cycling organisations should collectively rewrite and re-run as a matter of urgency

Well that was fun. I feel slightly dirty. I’m particularly looking forward to volunteering for the trial of fuel additives to prove how environmentally friendly cars can be. It’ll be cool to see how that works on a Tesla.

I’ve asked to be emailed the results to see whether any dissenting voices make it into the final version.

I hope they enjoy my comments, such as:

How is Khan responsible for all the debt? You right wing racist trash!

I don't think it's just Khans ethnicity, the fact hes actively trying to improve air quality and extend the low emmission zone probably hasnt helped.

It's not just that but I once went down a rabbit hole of pro-Brexit blowhard YouTube channels/comments and they absolutely HATE Sadiq Khan - it seems to be mostly because he is part of the Marxist Islamic takeover of the UK, according to them.

This 'survey' seems to be written by similar types.

Done. Gave my old postcode I grew at.

Questions massively biased towards car users and haters of Sadiq Khan.

Answered to skewer the result towards pro bike, anti cat... Pro higher taxes for high earners, inheritance and VED.

You're welcome.

That was an interesting survey.

I deliberately gave the most honest answers I could and kept my comments pretty civil. I did have to ask why they were so focused on London and the London mayor when most of the population don't live there...

But yeah mine was probably marked down as a "lefty loon" response.

Last and only comment was along the lines of "your survey is incredibly biased.... I don't think I would want to sit next to you in a pub."
