I need some new shorts for the gym, I keep seeing Fabletic shorts on Instagram with a good offer, has anyone purchased some of the shorts and can offer some feedback on them?

The wife has several pair of shorts and leggings and rates the highly, she pretty much lives in them.

Isn't it like a mail order hack though? You need to order x amount over a year or something?
I know the ex used to buy all her gym clothes from Fabletics, wasn't cheap - pretty sure it was something like £60 a month she was spending on what ever deal it was she signed up to.

This pretty much says it all.
They'll take nearly £60 out of your bank account each month and put it in your Fabletics account to use unless you remember to click 'skip this month' each month, obviously they're hoping you don't remember, then they've got your money and won't refund it. The stuff is good but expensive, is my understanding.
They've had a lot of bad publicity because of their business model.

Don't think it works for me, I tend to wear tings until they are threadbare so having to order new kit monthly (or whatever it is) doesn't seem to make sense to me. Saying that, a few friends have some of their kit and it seems to look decent.

Their kit is quite nice, but they don't make it easy to cancel you have to phone them & give them reasons.

Looks like Shein or any number of horrendous fast fashion businesses.

Not sure any athletics clothing manufacturers are much better ethically/environmentally, but maybe at least buy something from a company that puts some money back into sports?

I was getting targeted ads for them for a bit.  The business model is predicated on gym bunnies (both male and female) having new "fits" shipped to them every month whether they like it or not.

Why you would give them money over the likes of Under Armour/Nike/Adidas/Gym Shark/Reebok/NoBull I don't know...

Yeah I have seen you need to become a member to access the offer for the shorts, I heard it was really easy to cancel to avoid getting billed though.

I'm more interested in the quality of the shorts, its been over a decade since I last picked some up! I did try the local sports direct over the weekend, but they only had football style shorts. The local running shop shuts years ago which was a shame.

"Why you would give them money over the likes of Under Armour/Nike/Adidas/Gym Shark/Reebok/NoBull I don’t know…"

Gym Shark is a no, no reason other then no. Its the built in liner/compression short that has drawn me to these shorts, I've looked at Nike and Adidas's websites and they do offer the same but they are twice the price for one pair! I could get 4 of the Fabletics for the same price.

I have since posting gone to gamble on a pair, after getting into their website, I hadn't realised each model of short comes in sizes and also inseam length! Now need to wait to get home to measure my existing shorts inseam.

I bought two pairs of the shorts for £24 or something like that a year oor so ago. I use them for running in the summer and the gym all year round so they have been washed a few times per week for over a year and they are still going strong. The liner short with the phone pocket works a treat with my gargantuan phone when running.

I am pretty sure I signed up for a subscription. Bought the shorts then cancelled immediately so it was cheap.

I may have bought a tshirt but I can't recall so it must have been a)cheap and b)not a great fit or I'd remember for definiet. The shorts are really good though

That kind of business model they are running rarely goes hand in hand with the above statement!

Thank you for the info on cancelling and the shorts. I actually instead have ended up ordering some 2 in 1 shorts from BooHoo man, when googling 2 in 1 their shorts came up as on offer yesterday so have taken the punt.

Turns out I may be in London next week and their is a Fabletics store on Regent street so may pop in if the shorts from BooHoo man arent any good.

Update: I ended up in London and popped into the Regent Street store, tried on some of the shorts and they were really nice, much nicer material and fit then the BooHoo ones I picked up, ended up picking up the two pairs for £24 and signing up for the monthly membership, cancelled the monthly membership the next day when on my way home on the train.
