Yep, dog walked early in the rain (she wasn't happy) and now an iced latte with a streaky bacon and baby plum tomato wrap sat on sofa ready.....

I think this may be an interesting start, mass pile up in first corner with Webber cruising around the outside to take the lead?

Nope - that implies Webber will have a good start, which as we've seen on numerous occasions, is a ludicrous scenario.

My Nearly 2 year old has sat patiently with me through most of the build up, as soon as the lights go out he's off... to see his mum.

Why do I have a complete irrational hate of all things Ferrari....?

What's with the BBC coverage?

14hrs of boring chat about tyres. You could fit that in in 11 seconds flat. Waste of money that. Oh and boring strategies...

Just race.

Turned over already to watch BSB rerun of Brands Hatch.

Follow the leader F1 isn't my cup of tea but I really would like to see what all the fuss is about and " give it a try" every now and then.

I do love a wet F1 race though, not for crashes, just to see the skilful rise to the top. Ave to say, the technology and skill of F1 is pretty amazing.

Yep. He will win by 20secs+ at the end with a really strong engine.

Poor Webber. Was there any discussion of what happened to his rear wheel? I'm leaning towards the conspiracy side of the fence!

Please don't let Vettel win.

Tyres that last 4 laps at best and drs systems impossible to defend against, along with team orders have turned me off already this season
Shame as last year was really good and I got properly into it for first time in years

Interesting comments from kimi (via the commentator): we just drive our own lap times and if we end up racing someone we end up racing someone. There's undoubtedly more action in modern f1, but its not the purest form of racing it should be :-/

As a technical exercise F1 is amazing, as far as racing goes it is dull.

Sometimes it works out though - last few laps partially made up for it

But 3 good laps out of 60? Poor return for your investment.

If Alonso keeps winning this season will be longer, that anthem doesn't half go on a bit...
