all this talk of a comeback, reignition of his talent, finding form and stuff.... what? I really rate him, don't get me wrong, but the win was gifted to him really wasn't it?

I reckon seb would've held him off, and I'm not a huge fan of die fingermeister.

oh, and I see massa is whinging again.

thoughts?

I thought the headlines were all a bit over the top. Leading driver has a fault, Hamilton takes the lead...

I don't doubt he drove well, but it's not like he was badly placed on the grid and fought through, or used poor conditions to make up ground.

Yeah, very fortuitous, but he did drive really well all weekend.

He does need to grow up and be professional though; yeah, you've got personal stuff going on, but you've got a job to do. Other drivers have their own stuff going on, but most of them don't let it affect their driving to any detrimental level. Hamilton needs to keep things to himself; I'm not interested if he's split up with his pretend GF, I want to watch F1 Motor Racing, not a soap opera.

One positive development is the thawing of his relationship with Alonso (who has himself matured a lot recently). Fernando was very complimentary about Lewis, which surprised him somewhat. And he reciprocated, so although they might never be bezzie mates, that they may respect each other more and get along better, could make for a better F1 really. A nice humble gesture from Alonso I thought.

I want to see the best drivers at the top of their game, slogging it out and giving us an exciting spectacle. I want to see the proper fast nutter Lewis Hamilton. I want to Alonso in a decent car that he can actually compete in. Because all that is better for the sport.

Should have been a double champion by now, still can't believe Mclaren left him out on a visibly delaminating tyre and gifted Raikkonen the title that year!
One of the best out there but will come good later when he calms down, much like the more impressive form Button has shown in the second part of his career.

But Roxette are touring so that should ease your pain somewhat.

I am sorry.

The excitement of seeing Roxette again brings out the inner child in me.
