I was wondering if there is anyone else on here who's going down this route when it comes to financial planning and investing?
It's certainly topical considering what's happening in the markets at the moment. It would be interesting to see who else is following this path of low fee index based investment.
A good chunk of my savings, ISA and pension, is in various Vanguard ETFs
Similar to above, one pension pot and an isa are using low cost trackers plus I'm tracking my spend / savings rate monthly.
"Retiring Early" is still, at best 20 years away and not that early in comparison to past generations.
The process of catagorising all my spending for the last three years was quite enlightening and made me consider where I find value in the things I spend money on.
Yep. I'm currently sticking quite a bit in LGITI as I have most of my investments in VWRL and Lifestrategy 80.
My gold ETF is doing its job nicely at the moment - shame I've only got about 2% of net worth in it!

Being able to do it in an ISA in the UK is such a massive benefit that people just don't realise.
I'm internationally based so do it offshore for tax reasons. I've now moved 100% into VWRP - the new accumulating GBP version of VWRD - as I've got plenty of years to go and I don't mind the volatility going forwards.
I only posted because it's quite a big thing in the expat community but I wondered about back home.
I wish Andrew Hallam did an ISA version of his Millionaire Expat book. That would be huge.
