Friendly chap in curry house, "It'll be about five or ten minutes. Beer while you wait?"
Self, "Thanks, but I'm driving, so I'd rather not"

Out as of 8am today. Got in the work van this morning, someone had left a Christmas CD in the stereo and the first track to play was Wham! Heard the first few notes before I could hit the off button.

Yes, made it, well happy. I have ruined Christmas in the process, but sacrifices must be made.
Made it. Had a close call driving north at the weekend, and again on the 23rd when food prepping demanded festive music, but done. I feel better in my soul.

Considering I wasn’t playing, listened to the radio, went Christmas shopping a few times and several Xmas events I only heard it once. Seems it’s probably not hard to avoid.
Just been whammed at my parents! Made it all the way to Christmas day!

Funnily enough, it's nowhere near the most irritating Christmas song, so maybe it'll be something else next year... Sladeageddon or summink.
