Just looking for a Kindle and I came across this. 99p for a working Kindle and case? Really??

It showed up as newly listed - could he have made a mistake?

Anyhoo, I'll find out in a few days when/if it turns up 🙂

Dunno, but I'd just keep hold of something for the sake of 99p or give it away to someone rather than flogging it. Doesn't really make sense, they could have probably got £10 for it.

It is an old model that nobody really wants, he probably put it on with no reserve hoping that might drum up some interest. Sometimes you win sometimes you lose.

99p? He will be -£2.17 or something ridiculous once eBay and Paypal take their cut.

I tend to put most stuff on for 99p starting bid. Normally it goes higher, but sometimes there's no interest and it goes at that price. Sold a cheap, but as new seatpost recently and put it in for 99p. Bike stuff normally gets quite a few watches and goes for fair money, but this one didn't get a sniff and sold for 99p. But annoyed, but hey ho...

According to eBay the average price for these is about £45.

Oh yeah, and this was a buy it now for 99p not an auction!

He revised it on the second of June to "best offer".
Perhaps someone offered to buy it off of ebay and he ended the auction ?
Or noticed his mistake and ended it ?

Ahh, sorry didnt read properly, it looks like you bought it.

I suspect it was a listing error. We'll see if it actually turns up!

Hmmm. Seller has refunded my payment and relisted the item without sending me a cancellation request. Can he do this? According to My eBay I have bought it and is awaiting payment.

He can do what he likes. What are you going to do to stop him?

Probably just best to let that one go. Seller obviously made a mistake and it's not like you're out of pocket or anything..
