My cousin Nick who rides with Lancaster MTB has just shared a video of what is probably the World's Most Ambitious, Commercial, one-man DIY project.

What's remarkable isn't just that he's been doing this single-handedly for over three years, but that he's still jumping on his bike every Thursday night for an epic with his local crew! Please show him support, to help him keep going and get this ridiculous project over the line!

I have never not regretted starting a DIY project, at some point during the job.

I am looking at a 600 foot long 6ft high garden fence that is gently swaying in the breeze and thinking £1,000 materials and a weekend DIY or £2,500 and a weekend riding...

Either you have an extra 0 on that length, or you're missing a 0 off your material costs.........

Or you have access to the worlds cheapest timber ;=

That's one hell of a project to take on and he's got a lot done on his own!

There's a couple I know that bought an old school in my home town over 30 years ago and have planned a similar thing, full restoration of the stones, etc. The only signs of any work being done is a pile of neatly stacked and cleaned stones in the old courtyard! Two new windows went in about 6 months ago, the only thing that's changed visually in the whole time I've known the building.

The latest streetview picture shows his old Sherpa pickup that didn't move for nearly a decade, now scrapped. The RX7 next door is gone too sadly.
