You know strange emails, odd Facebook activity. What would you do, confront the suspect or just ignore their fruitless activity?

Confront them, it doesn't have to be nasty or aggressive.

How strange? How odd?

"I see your shiny hair and I find myself wanting to stroke it" strange...

...or...

"See my knife, my lovely, pretty, serrated knife? I think it wants to be friends" strange?

Once I know that I'll be able to provide a definitive opinion.

surely all she needs to do is stay awake one night to find out.

or get up earlier so it's still hot.

No, but we're not sure yet if this is proper stalking...

Friend of mine wakes up every morning to a cold cup of hot chocolate on her doorstep.

That is weird. Does she empty it every morning and leave the cup outside, or is the stalker investing in 365 cups a year?

The only way to know for sure, is if her yard is full of boys.

Look on the bright side, there's nothing worse than being ignored. Nothing. 🙁

Does FB not tell you who posted stuff? What sort of odd FB activity?

Personally, I would have a good giggle that this person has got nothing better to do than stalk you on Facebook and feel a bit sorry for them for being so pathetic.

Then I would carry on with my full and exciting life with a grin on my face, cos I? awesome and that 🙂

Negligent OP-ing here...

Answers to our questions are required. As total strangers, we must formulate unreasonable opinions and pretend we know what you're going through.

Hey look it's Don Simon!

Not stalking as people following me. I think this is someone trying to follow my on-line activity which I dont hide mostly. I suspect they are reading this.

I'm not following you, but I might start following therealhoops because he's totally awesome!

Don, someday you'll have to reveal your source of über cool emoticons. The 22 on STW just aren't enough!

I have not one, but two regular intruders who sneak into my bedroom and leave me gifts.

Bloody cats!

Yep, my Cats stalk me - every time I open a door, they're just sat there looking at me. And I wake up every morning to a kitchen floor covered in leaves (they haven't quite managed to catch anything else yet).

Mind, you not seen them on FB yet....

I'm now quite pre-occupied with the whole cold cup of hot chocolate on her doorstep thing.

WTF does that mean? You see if that was me, I'd have to go and meet them and get them to explain what on earth it was all about. And probably then be horrifically murdered by someone completely spaced out, suffering Horlicks withdrawal

He used to work with her, and I think he was a bit keen, she went on a few dates, and he was a bit wet apparently. The Hot chocolate thing came from her saying that she liked it, simple as that.

He'd never do more than that, and even weirder, he has to drive to her place. 😯

It's the every day thing that gets me. That's a level of commitment I just can't get behind.

Your friend must be one hell of a lady.

Christ on a bendybus!! There are some proper freaks out there. If he's that daft/mental, could she not drop a hint that she 'liked' a nice bottle of Chardonnay or something, then he'd be like a milkman dropping off her evenings supplies every morning. It'd be nice and chilled whn she got back from work

I'd definitely be trying that! 😉

LOL, to be honest I don't think she wants to encourage it. Camo, it's not everyday, couple of times a week, then nothing, then more again. She's asked him to stop, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Well, I laughed.

So did I..

Someone told me this was a crap forum full of nobs and bell ends , but tbh I've had a few laughs here.

That woman she should stand in the window naked a bit more often if she wants more cocoa.
