Does anyone subscribe to this? is it any good?
I'm looking at ways to get the TdF in my office, is it possible to link it up to a TV?
Ta!
i subscribe
it's terminally unreliable. In the process of getting a refund as it works so rarely!
great when it does work though
i subscribed for the spring classics, can be intermittant but yes you can hook it up to a tv if the tv and PC have the right terminals etc
if you go to http://www.cyclingfans.com/ there's always links to live tv feeds of the major tours (often with English commentary when on Eurosport etc).
Most companies frown on live online tv watching due to the amount of bandwidth and staff attention it uses. Working at home has its benefits in July...
Hmmm... £3.99 though, sounds worth a punt. Do you have to subscribe for several months at once?
no, but multiple months works out cheaper
I have it, very reliable for me. I plug my laptop into the TV/amp when the mrs isn't watching crap.
Right, I think I'll give it a whirl... When's the next lot of racing? Is the Dauphine being screened?
And sorry to sound dim, but do you download a player application that you can only use on one computer, or is it just a log-in code?
It's like the BBC iplayer website. Watch in a window on the webpage or press the full-screen button.
Yup the Daphnie's on.
Decent stage today too, shame Tommy V didn't break free yesterday..Today maybe.
I have it for the World and British Superbike coverage. Its sh1te. Rarely connects, when it does it rarely stays connected, and the picture quality is shocking. I used to have Sky PLayer which was great, but the Eurosport version is a shocker.
If you have sky tv at home and a reasonable computer/internet connection why not just use sky anywhere?
