Looking at a winter break.
Do not fancy 2 weeks in Tenerife or similar, but I am thinking about an Interrail pass and touring a bit of Europe.
Due to the time of year, will probably be heading south. Maybe Paris-Bordeaux-Madrid-Lisboa.
Intend to be flexible and only plan a day or 2 in advance.
Has anyone done similar?
Any advice or recommended (rough) itineraries?
I have nothing useful to add here as I haven't used a train in Europe in years. However, we're spending a few days near Florence in May and I'd much prefer to take a few days by train, with overnight stops en route and then continuing to Rome to take a flight home.
